COVID – 19 Update Thursday 10th September
Under government guidelines, we are still holding funeral gatherings up to 30 people. The government have announced that gatherings of more than 6 people is against the law from Monday 14th September, however, funerals are listed under exemptions from this new law. We are therefore still open to take funeral gatherings until further notice. Please see the detail below on how this is put into practice.
COVID – 19 Update Monday 6th July
Following the government’s announcement, we are pleased to say that we will be able to host funeral receptions from Monday 6th July. We have a detailed plan on how to manage these in order to provide a fantastic service, with the safety of customers and staff the priority.
We will be offering our private function room and a buffet inclusive of teas and coffees, all of which will be ready in the room prior to arrival of the guests. The room will have been fully deep cleaned before and after each event providing a safe environment for your clients to enter. As always, there will be no limit on the time the family would be able to stay, and in line with government guidance will be limited to a maximum of 30 people. All relevant signage will be in place guiding the customers into the building and to designated facilities. In order to reduce the number of people queuing for the bar, we will provide a drinks table in the room itself, for you to help yourselvesto, as part of an extended package if you wish, at a cost of £3pp. We are offering, prosecco, bottled beer, orange juice and sparkling elderflower.
The cost for the above will be a fixed rate of £600.00 (inc. VAT). This includes hire of a “COVID-19 Safe” sanitised room for an unlimited time, cold buffet menu including tea and coffee, and use of our facilities including dedicated sanitised toilets.
