Visitor Information
Our 18-hole course, founded in 1924 with an original design by the first British Ryder Cup captain Ted Ray, is established parkland in character, set in 150 gently rolling acres of easy walking, with most holes flanked by magnificent mature woodland. We also offer a nine-hole pay-and-play course, with both renowned for outstanding year-round condition. We are easily accessible from the A14 and our recently-refurbished clubhouse is cosy in winter and open and airy in summer. Bury St Edmunds is truly a course for all seasons.
Green-fee visitors are welcome at Bury St Edmunds. The 18-hole can be played, availability allowing, on weekdays, excluding public holidays. The 9-hole pay-and-play course is available at all times, again society or members' competition tee bookings allowing. Please check in the Pro shop for the latest information.
